Above me was a sign that read: 'Photographers Wanted' . Those two words are why I'm here today. My only goal at the time was to just get some units at my community college by working for its newspaper. My thoughts were how hard could it be to learn how to process film? Right? |

My duties weren't limited to film process, but entailed doing the duties of an entire staff, plus being the photo editor. All this for one measly unit! Little
did I know that taking that job was the beginning of where I was
heading...photography. Having not taken a single photo class yet, I did
very well in meeting my commitments for my college newspaper. The
experience was good and made me realize that there was still a lot to
learn in the world of photography than just processing the roll of
film.. Life, is one big learning
curve. Keeping that thought in mind, I've moved on to polish my skill sets in photography: photo development, looking for the right angle, coloration, filtering, etc. During my completion of my Junior year at San Jose State University's photojournalism program, my passion for a particular subject matter was coming into focus: the sporting world.
